Spotlight Boosts add an extra spark to your performances and make the league more social and engaging. These fun opportunities let your team shine and connect with others during the regular season. Each team can use up to four Spotlight Boosts over the 5-week regular season. Boosts can only be used once per season and only in one round per match.
Spotlight Boost Options
- Team Harmony: Bring a teammate from your own team to join your performance. Can only be used in solo rounds (not group rounds).
- Guest Star: Invite a guest who is not a registered league member this season to perform with you. Can be used in any round.
- Friendly Duet: Collaborate with a competitor from another team to perform together. Can be used in any round.
- Wildcard Song: Select any song from the Karafun catalog to replace a theme-limited song choice. Can be used in any round.
Bonus Points for Spotlight Boosts
Using a Spotlight Boost can earn your team extra points during the regular season! Points are awarded only if your team wins the match or ranks first in the round where the Boost is used. Here’s how many bonus points each Boost earns:
- Team Harmony: +1 point
- Guest Star: +1 point
- Friendly Duet: +2 points for both teams
- Wildcard Song: +1 point
